Shopping in Bellevue

Bellevue, Washington is home to many fantastic shopping destinations. The Bellevue Collection is the crown jewel of Bellevue's shopping scene. The Collection consists of three shopping centers in the heart of downtown Bellevue: Lincoln Square, Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place. There's something for everyone here, with a mixture of high-end and mass-market stores to cover nearly every shopping niche. For children's shopping, the Collection offers many choices, including Sanrio, The Disney Store, Build-A-Bear Workshop and LEGO. Made In Washington and the Mariners Team Store offer tourists a chance to pick up a memorable souvenir, while the Apple Store and the Microsoft Store give techies something to look forward to.

The more discerning shopper can visit the shops at the Bravern. The Bravern hosts many exclusive retail stores. Handbag shoppers with an eye for quality can visit Louis Vuitton, while demanding shoe shoppers can get their kicks at Jimmy Choo. A wide variety of luxury goods are found in the Bellevue Neiman Marcus, one of the anchor tenants of the Bravern. David Lawrence is a regional boutique selling the edgiest Northwest styles, while shoppers with an international itch can find French fashions at Hermès or the latest from Italy at Piazza Sempione. Jewelry shoppers can find fine pearl jewelry at the Holly Zhang Pearl Gallery. Visitors to the Brooks Brother Country Club can find the finest sportswear, while shoppers in search of something unique can find indigo knitwear from Blue Willi's.

Bellevue shoppers can get a taste of the Far East at Uwajimaya, a small grocery chain native to the Pacific Northwest. Uwajimaya features a wide variety of Asian grocery items, many of them labeled in their original language. Visitors can sample a dazzling assortment of Pocky, marvel at the impressive seafood section or baffle themselves with many of the unusual imported items. Natives of the Far East can find a touch of home in this full-service store. Uwajimaya also carries a wide range of non-grocery items, from tapestries to teapots. This store also boasts a diverse collection of Maneki Neko statues and figurines. These happy cats are symbols of luck and wealth.

Parking in downtown Bellevue can be a challenge. Most of the large shopping centers offer their guests limited free parking, but parking spots are limited and often fill up quickly. Shoppers should plan ahead and prepare to spend time looking for parking.
